Our journey in the bathroom industry began when I was just 17 years old. What started as a humble introduction into the bathroom industry quickly became a lifelong passion.
Over the years, through hard work and perseverance, I’ve grown to successfully manage numerous independent bathroom showrooms being headhunted multiple times along the way.
Each step of the way has taught me something valuable — not just about bathrooms, but about people, service, and the importance of staying true to your values.
Now, I’m proud to own and be the director of Balneo Design, an independent bathroom company that reflects who I am and what I believe in.
It’s a company where my family stands beside me — not only as my greatest support, but also as an active part of the business.
My wife Rehana has an active role behind the scenes and also front of house.
Our eldest son, Joseph, is our electrician, with Asa working on media, Raies and Sebastian all primed to be part of what we are building as a team
As a married father of four, family is the heart of everything I do.
While I take great pride in designing and delivering stunning bathrooms, my life doesn’t revolve around work — it revolves around the people I love at home.
It might surprise some, but for me, material success has never been the driving force. What truly motivates me is seeing the joy on a client’s face when we’ve helped them achieve something truly special in their home.
The greatest reward comes at the end of the week, when I can spend time with my family knowing we’ve made a positive impact on people who share our values.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping others establish and grow their own businesses in this industry — a journey that’s brought its own rewards.
But nothing compares to the fulfilment of building Balneo Design into a brand that my friends and family can proudly be part of.
